Brittany, originally from Jonesboro, GA realized at an early stage in her career the desire to make a difference in woman’s health care. Earning her BS in Nursing from both Valdosta and Tennessee State University, Brittany knew that she eventually wanted to specialize in midwifery.
After earning her RN license, Brittany had an opportunity to work for eight years as a labor and delivery nurse in Atlanta as well as various cities throughout the country. During that time, she also obtained her certification in lactation and fetal monitoring. She then went on to complete her Masters in Midwifery at Frontier University.
As a Roswell midwife and member of the NILE Women’s Health Care family, Brittany will be providing comprehensive care to gynecological, obstetrical, antepartum, intra-partum and postpartum clients in the Alpharetta/Roswell office. Brittany’s passion is to create stronger partnerships with women and educate their families in making confident decisions while in labor and during their delivery. She also has a desire to provide diabetic meal plans and portion control to women post pregnancy. Brittany will be providing these services in the office and at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital.
She is currently active in prominent organizations such as Alpha Kappa Alpha, Association of Women’s Health (AWHONN), Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).
When she is not vigorously focused on her patients, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children, traveling, decorating, event planning, and cooking.
